Hassan was easy to deal with. He gave me a quote quickly. The job was done within a week. He was reliable and turned when he said he would. He needed to do three coats as the house had not been painted for some time. He prepared the walks carefully.I got daily video updates as I was not there. The job was completed in the time he said and at a reasonable price and high quality. There was no mess and I have no hesitation in recommending Hassan at JB hogan. A great service that I will use again.

The work is of poor quality: 1. I doubt the painter bought 80L of paint which is still a mystery to me. After the 1st day of work, he said we used 2.5 buckets of paint already but honestly, I had never seen that much amount of paint bringing. So, I feel cheated. 2. When he came to take the contract, he said all types of things, sanding all the areas, filling the gaps etc etc. but in reality, I had to run behind him for each and every detail. 3. He brought his 15-year-old son to work and another lad who was inexperienced. After 1st day he worked with them and from day 2, he dropped them off in the morning explained to them what to do, and left for another site. 4. He did not have a proper ladder to reach places which are high up in the ceiling. 5. On the 5th day, he was in a rush to complete the work leaving the paint marks everywhere. Called him again for a full day to complete the work. I feel I made the wrong decision to hire him from your portal. Pathetic quality. won't recommend

He and his miserable looking helpers got paint on a car and the public footpath. Neighbours complained about walking paint into their homes. Didn't paint places that were difficult to do he just left them. I complained to him and he said he would fix it but it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing. It cost me over €800 for paint and €1300 for the job. I had to get another painter in (not from homedeal) to fix the job and pay again. I will never use homedeal if this is the class of people they are recommending. I can send pictures fir verification.

From the beginning, the contractor used inferior paint contrary to agreement. He didn’t do part of work indoors involving paper stripping. In general he was in such a hurry that the quality of painting was unsatisfactory.
